Chronicle of my morning journey

Got to the MRT station at 5.35am this morning to find that the service had not started yet thus the blank monitor. The surroundings were so dark that I could hardly see what was out there. However, there were others waiting at the station as well. I only wake up this early occasionally but I suspect that these folks do this every morning. Waited 10 mins before the train arrived. Got to Yio Chu Kang station to transfer to the feeder bus and there were three people in the queue in front of me. While waiting for the bus, I looked around and the surroundings were still dark. Finally got to my office for my 7am meeting 20 minutes early and the entire floor was empty.
