The shit has hit the fan!!!

Monster is facing more security problems. Thank goodness I requested to have my account removed after the initial compromise happened. They didn't provide a remove account feature in their website so I had to contact their helpdesk to get it removed. They asked for personal details including my password. Who in the right mind would give them that? So I changed my password to "idunlikemonster". The guy who processed my request probably "suck thumb"* if he didn't share my sense of humour.
Apparently, I'm one out of the few hundreds to have taken that step. Remove your Monster account if you haven't done so... Monster sucks anyways. I rather rely on the good ole newspaper to find employment.

* Slang for "lan lan".

Irresponsible... tsk tsk tsk

I used to have my personal information on Monster.com but have since removed my details ever since I found out how irresponsible they are. Thank goodness I did not even bother creating an account on Facebook even though I've had friends inviting me to. Facebook has been having its fair share of security issues lately.
Came across a quote that is quite apt for this post.
"If you spend more on coffee than on IT security, you will be hacked. What's more, you deserve to be hacked." - Former White House Cybersecurity adviser, Richard Clarke

Cool!!!

Was passing through customs to board my plane back to Singapore. There was an Ang Moh behind me who started a conversation and it roughly went like this.
Ang Moh: "Dude... did you bring Action Figures* in your hand carry with you?"
Me: "Yes."
Ang Moh: "Cool!!!"
Me: "How did you know?"
Ang Moh: "I saw them on the X-ray screen."
Hahahahahaha.

* I bought two Star Wars Action Figure Comic Packs. One set includes Luke Skywalker (in a Stormtrooper uniform)+ R2D2 and the other is Obiwan+ARC Trooper.

Miscellaneous news

Uploading pics and vids is so time consuming that I am behind in terms of general blogging. Some interesting news that I came across over the past week or so.
CDs celebrated their 25th birthday! Has it been 25 years already?
First there was aka "The Artist formerly known as Prince"... now there's a Chinese boy known as @. WTF!!!
Watched "The Bourne Ultimatum". Ho eh!!! Sierra is in the midst of producing a Bourne game entitled "The Bourne Conspiracy". It doesn't feature Matt Damon's "mug" because they probably can't afford to pay him. Can't wait for it to be released.
Thank goodness I'm not residing in Germany. My job would be impossible to do either wise.
Life is unfair!!! Excerpt from an article I read "Durant hit the jackpot when he signed a seven-year, $60 million shoe deal -- which included a $10 million signing bonus -- with Nike". That amount does not include his contract with his basketball team, the Seattle Supersonics, btw. Shit load of $ just to wear a pair of shoes and a lot for someone who hasn't not even played his first professional game yet.
