Night out on the town

Been awhile since I've seen JL. Met up with her at Plaza Sing for dinner before heading over to Cathay Starbucks for coffee. The "Double Happiness" label caught my eye whilst we were enjoying our "cup of Joe". Took a quick peek at the "Flirting Point" on the way home. Too bad I was alone... no one to flirt with.

Battle Royale

Came face-to-face with a psychotic giant cockroach moments ago. I first knew of its presence when it crashed into my living room wall. I took notice and saw how huge it was. I stealthily made my way to grab a newspaper and the insecticide. With both objects in each hand, I eyeballed my foe... waiting for the perfect time to strike. It sensed my presence and decided to strike first. It charged at me like a bull rushing towards the Matador and I swatted it in mid-air with my newspaper. It vanished from my line of sight for awhile. I soon spotted it on the ground. I crouched low... deciding my next move. I decided to use the 2nd weapon at my disposal. I switched off the living room fan as I did not want to poison myself with the spray of the insecticide can. I sent the first burst of insecticide at it. It did not react. I sent a few more sprays and it finally started to stagger around before flipping on its back. Victorious... I left it alone to die a glorious death.

Comics

I've been called "geeky" and "bo liao" because of my love for comics. I love them because they have rich story-lines and complex characters. They outshine Channel 5 and 8 shows. Remember "VR Man"? OMG.

Intriguing

I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what mobile phone to trade in my N95 8GB for. I think I've found it. Puma mobile phone??? Fascinating.

Too late

This announcement came too late. I have already replaced my HDD and sold my crappy Macbook. No rant here. Just the facts.

CNY 2010

Got up early this morning to attend the National Museum open house.
They need to clean their glass panes. There was a long queue for the Egyptian exhibit so we opted to visit the Singapore exhibit first before our Dim Sum lunch.

Back to the museum. This fence is a reminder of the past and being the sentimental one... I like it and edited it with different effects.
