A tribute to Andy

Headed down to SAM and 8Q this National Day since I had nothing planned. At Bras Basah MRT.
At SAM. Introduction to Vincent Leow's exhibits.

A portrait of the artist's dead dog, Andy, entitled "Holy Space". One thing is confirmed... I think animals like dogs are cute... as long as I do not have to clean up after them. Haha!!!
Exhibition inspired by Singapore's cinematic past. Polaroids of former cinemas including the former Hollywood cinema which is currently occupied by Sheng Siong supermarket near my home.
Another revelation... I love taking pics of buildings and this is why this section of the exhibition caught my full attention.
My tribute to Andy in ink sketch and oil painting styles.
Onward to 8Q. Andy is sooooooooooo cute. Other artwork from Vincent that wasn't inspired by Andy. Bones inscribed with the wordings "You hear an audible last breath and then he was gone". Suit, hat and shoes made of US dollar bills!
dbl 0 and a Jewish building close by to 8Q.
Exhibit entitled "Head On" at NMS. It is an art piece using a pack of wolves running around in circles and hitting an invisible wall. It represents the issues faced by Germans after the unification of East and West Germany.
Cathay cinema in the foreground with gorgeous clouds in the backdrop.
