Museum barcajax

New exhibit. Painting of Puyi, the last Emperor. In this oil painting, Puyi cuts a lonely pitiful figure dressed in his imperial robes. Rich details adorn the door paneling. A lady can be seen in the background and believed to be the Empress Dowager. Illustrated are several open doors before him. This represents not only the transition of boy to man but also the concept of China's transformation.
Viewing strictly by appointment only.
