Trust?

I normally do not give strangers with sob stories money but today I decided to give a woman money because of my new mantra. I initially offered her S$10 but she requested S$20. She promised to call me at 9+pm tonight to return me the money but I never heard from her. Oh well. I guess her integrity is only worth S$20.

She said she just got out of hospital. Showed me her bandaged arm. Claimed to have left her purse on the taxi... blah blah blah.
