The lost frontier

Singapore has lots of "treasures" but is not very good at preserving them. It's a real pity.
Seletar camp. Traces of our colonial past. Commercial airport within.

House for rent.

Please do not take the plants? Wide open spaces. A rare sight in Singapore. Antique mailbox.

Colonial house.

Kampong Lorong Buangkok. The last village in Singapore. A place time forgot and soon lose forever.

Both places have been marked for destruction. Visit them now before its too late. Fenn has a few pretty amazing pics she took at Seletar.

Yes... the last kampong's days are numbered. You better go as soon as you can or you will miss out. Ironically, I came to know about the kampong from a NY Times article. The link is provided in my article.
