Mad rush

There was a lot of activity going on before the close of the English transfer window. Numerous players changed clubs on the last day but none more surprising than Berbatov's transfer to Manchester United and Robinho's migration to Manchester City! Tottenham were apparently unwilling to sell to Man U while Robinho was supposed to have been adamant on playing for Scolari at Chelsea. It has been the most intriguing close of transfer windows in recent times.
