Google Chrome

Google has released a beta open source browser that is touted to be easier, faster and safer to use. Doesn't every browser make that claim? Google commissioned a comic to hawk Chrome's superior features.
Chrome takes some getting used to because Google has reversed the menu with the browser tabs.

Chrome introduces an "incognito mode" which offers private browsing.
Latest update: Old browser security flaw found in Chrome that afflicted other browsers previously. You might want to wait for the official release of Chrome before doing some serious surfing with it. Besides the fact that its still in beta, I will hold off using Chrome on a full time basis until CCleaner* is able to securely delete Chrome surfing traces.

* CCleaner currently only supports IE, Firefox and Opera browsers.
