How can anyone not know what Nutella is?

Fenn mentioned that her friend's friend who is American never heard of Nutella. How can anyone not eaten Nutella before? If he's from a third world country, that's possible but America?
Did some research on Nutella... turns out that it was created in Italy. Interesting.

Oy! Someone should tie down the American and shovel the largest available size jar of nutella down his/her throat! It's a CRIME to have never tasted nutella!

Got it! Friends not a friend. So there are more than one ignorant folks. Send them Nutella for their birthdays and Xmas.
