Singapore prides itself in being modern and technologically up-to-date. This is evident in the technologies we readily embrace and the latest gadgets that Singaporeans grab once they are out in the market. I was thus surprised to find that France is ahead of us in terms of Wi-fi adoption. Everywhere I went, Wi-fi was available for surfing the net... even in trains!I was suffering "cold turkey" whenever I saw someone surfing the net or passed by an Internet cafe throughout the trip. I wonder how I made it through 19 days without a PC.
